Calling all History Day Students!

Join the Tennessee State Museum, Tennessee State Library and Archives, and Tennessee Historical Society for a free workshop about how to research history day projects. The workshop will be held at the Tennessee State Museum on Saturday, December 3, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is free.

Students will learn about resources and research, receive feedback from history professionals, and learn the craft of historiography. Light snacks will be provided; attendees are encouraged to bring a sack lunch. Water will be provided.

Space is limited! Click here to register. The museum is located in the James K. Polk building at Fifth and Deaderick streets. There is free parking in the state employee parking lots to the west of the state capitol on weekends.
