TDOT Exhibit

TDOT Centennial: A hundred Years of Moving Tennessee Forward and into the Future

The Tennessee Department of Transportation is continuing its year-long Centennial Celebration with a mobile transportation exhibit that is now on display at the Tennessee State Museum. The exhibit features several historical documents including one of the first sets of road design plans that date back to 1917, and hand-held equipment used by TDOT employees many decades ago. You can see the mobile exhibit at the museum through the end of April then it will continue its trek from one end of the state to the other along the Memphis to Bristol Highway (SR 1), Tennessee’s first road.
