Join the Tennessee State Museum, in partnership with the UNA- Nashville Cordell Hull Chapter, for virtual panel discussion on the life and legacy of Cordell Hull. Panelists will discuss the life of Cordell Hull from his humble upbringing in the Upper Cumberland to his rise as Franklin Roosevelt’s Secretary of State, and his legacy as "The Father of the United Nations" and Nobel Peace Prize winner. Moderating the discussion will be Tennessee State Museum Director of Collections and Chief Curator Dan Pomeroy. Panelists will include
Dr. Kurt Piehler, Associate Professor of History at Florida State University and Director of the Institute of World War II and the Human Experience.

Monique Johnson Hodge, Park Manager at the Cordell Hull Birthplace State Park
This panel is presented through a partnership with the Tennessee State Museum and the UNA-Nashville Cordell Hull Chapter.
