Recently retired Museum Chief Curator and Director of Collections, Dan Pomeroy, will join us for this discussion of Franklin and Winston: An Intimate Portrait of an Epic Friendship by Pulitzer Prize-winning Tennessee author, Jon Meacham, who writes that Franklin Roosevelt and Winston Churchill were the greatest leaders of “the Greatest Generation.” In Franklin and Winston, Meacham explores the fascinating relationship between the two men who piloted the free world to victory in World War II.
The event will take place online from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. CDT (7 p.m.- 8:30 p.m. EDT) and the link will be sent to attendees the day of the book club. Questions? Contact Public.Programs@tn.gov.
