Looking for a fun hobby and a marketable skill? This introductory class on jewelry making offers both. Instructor Susan Thornton received her BFA from the Appalachian Center for Craft in Tennessee with an emphasis in metals. She is a jeweler for Yearly Company in Nashville, Tennessee. Her private studio is east of Nashville where she produces one of a kind and limited-edition jewelry objects. Her work is exhibited nationally and featured in a number of books and publications.
